TRANSFERPRO DTF Film is a 3.4 mil hot peel/cold peel, stretchable film with a soft touch. Matte finish on print side, with a high ink load capability.

Recommended Fabrics:

  • 100% cotton
  • 100% polyester
  • Poly/cotton blends
  • Acrylics
 

Printed fabric care:

  • Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent
  • Air dry for longest life of printed image
  • Wear N95 mask or respirator while handling un-cured hot melt powder.
  • Keep un-cured hot melt powder away from inkjet printer to avoid clogging printhead nozzles.
 

Curing hot melt powder:

These are suggested starting temperatures and times. Be sure to test with your equipment and conditions. Look for a uniform slightly glossy “orange peel” appearance on fully cured powder.

 

Heat press hove method:

  • 3 minutes @ 305 to 320F 
  • Preheat lower platen before curing powder. 
  • Hover heat platen about ½ inch over powder. 
  • Adjust time and temperature as needed to achieve “orange peel” appearance on fully cured powder.
 

DTF curing oven method:

  • 2 minutes @ 260 F
  • Adjust time as needed to achieve “orange peel” appearance on fully cured powder.
 

IR curing tunnel:

  • Consult tunnel manufacturer for heat, distance, and speed settings. 
  • Adjust as needed to achieve “orange peel” appearance on fully cured powder.
 

Application instructions:

  • Set press 305 to 320F 
  • Press 8 to 10 seconds
  • Medium pressure
  • Peel while hot for highest resolution details.
  • Cover film with protective paper or Teflon sheet when pressing to avoid transferring ink to press.
  • Adjust temperature as needed for different fabrics
